Electronic paper is an emerging technology that mimics the appearance and flexibility of paper, but can be reused endlessly. Scribe is a small cylinder that can be unlocked through a secure eye scan. The sides can be pulled apart to reveal the flexible screen with a retractable backing. This touch screen device can store and receive any magazine, book, document or newspaper wirelessly on a secure network. Scribe would replace the need for printed paper and would result in more forests, cleaner air, and decreased greenhouse gases.
